Guestbook Comments:
“Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us. Casa
Mojanda is truly one of the most special places we've ever been.
Your home, the rooms, the setting, the surrounding countryside,
your Foundation - all are inspirational. We'll always remember our
days here with you, along with our horseback ride with Betti, our
sightseeing and hiking and the terrific meals. In fact, it's awfully
hard to leave - as our extra days suggest!”

“Nello always claims he lives under a lucky star and in finding
this place for us as part of our honeymoon, I would definitely agree!
The scenery is of course, fantastic, but so is the way you have
nestled your home into the mountains and so is your hospitality.
Most important is seeing a couple make their dreams come true -
dreams that benefit a world in need. Perhaps we will be able to
do the same here in our corner of the world - we hope so. Thank
you so much. We have many memories of our time here at Casa Mojanda
to treasure. With much appreciation.”

“‘One wonders after visiting this place why there is
anyone left in Dublin, Paris or London.’ W.B. Yeats. The beauty
of your Casa Mojanda is only surpassed by your warm and generous
hospitality our trip to the animal market, making breakfast at 7
am, including us in the Seder, the music of the Andes.”

“We first drove by Casa Mojanda yesterday at 4:30 pm on our
way to the big lake. After a hour ride uphill on the road we got
to the beach in front of the lake. A rainbow awaited us. A couple
of frames were shot and I decided to drive up a little further.
Lisa warned me before getting the jeep stuck in the mud. Two and
half hours later, we entered Casa Mojanda, our legs shaking from
the walk back down. It was 9:30 by then. Diego and Betti took us
in - gave a nice, delicious dinner, and then took us back up the
mountain to pull our jeep out of the mud. We got up to the top and
with a little digging and pulling from behind, we were free. Then
we all stayed awhile to enjoy the stars and we shot a few pictures
of all of us to remember the event. We shot the Black Mountain and
Lake Mojanda with the flashes of lightening. It was a beautiful
night and it made our predicament actually a blessing. Our stay
at Casa Mojanda was too short but we'll be back! Thanks for making
us feel at home (and digging out our car)!”

“On Sunday you welcomed me without reservations. It's Wednesday
and I am on my way to Quito and home. In these fine days of fresh
mornings filled with soft breezes and bird song, misty afternoons
of darkening clouds, to chilly nights under cozy blankets, I have
experienced the kindest hospitality, the warmth of a lovely family
and an exciting new friendship. Also - incredible photo opportunities,
an amazing walk at the lakes, wonderfully generous and tasty vegetarian
feasts, good gardening talk (thanks for the quinoa seed), on-target
recommended reading, movie talk, the fun company of two young New
York/Ecuadorians, amazing buenas vistas and an inspiring look at
a life-project of lives committed to the earth and committed to
community-building, education, nutrition, health, conservation.
Gracias por todo! Hasto pronto.”

"Thirteen peaceful days surrounded by Mother Cotacachi, Father
Imbabura and Fuya Fuya, soft winds, impressive clouds, a tender
sun and a bright moon; beautiful views, especially in the early
morning; a wonderful place for meditation and getting in contact
with nature and the universe. What a pleasure to live in this excellent
architecture which gives you the impression of being inside and
outside at the same moment. This was the best time of my vacation.
I am going home with my best wishes to Sofie, Maya, Betti and Diego
and everybody who is working at Casa Mojanda. I am sure I will be
back and looking forward to it. And I hope you'll be very successful
with the clinic. Thank you for everything, to everybody."

comes with me, a piece of me stays here." - Paul Sadowski,
